Welcome to Dionysios Web Site. My name is Dionysios Flambouras and I currently live in London. I have grown up and spend my school years in the Greek island of Zakynthos where my family still lives and as a student I lived in Athens and the United Kingdom. Recently I got involved in a project for the creation of a web page for the application of the Vienna Convention on the International Sale of Goods (CISG) in Greece which although is quite a lot of work is great fun. Finally, I also read for a part time basis Doctorate Degree in the Law School of Athens, Department of Civil Law. The main areas of the site are described below.
I come from Zakynthos a Greek island situated in the South Ionian sea nine miles from the Western cape of Peloponnese Amongst other things what make Zakynthos unique is its beautiful villages and its shores many of which have been awarded the blue flag of the European Community
I am qualifed Advocate of the Athens Bar, and I am currently working for the Loans Department of Ergobank SA a Greek Bank which maintains a Branch in London.

My major academic interest is the Vienna Convention on the International Sale of Goods (1980) (the 'CISG') which has recently implemented by the Greek parliament. The CISG has already been ratified by 57 States and is considered as a major development for the target of unification of the area of International Sales law. I currently participate in a project supervised by PACE University School of law for the creation of an autonomous network on the CISG. My major task is the creation of a Greek Web Site concerning the application of the Convention in Greece
