1978 Draft article 56

The buyer's obligation to take delivery consists:

(a) in doing all the acts which could reasonably be expected of him in order to enable the seller to make delivery; and

(b) in taking over the goods.

  

CISG article 60

The buyer's obligation to take delivery consists:

(a) in doing all the acts which could reasonably be expected of him in order to enable the seller to make delivery; and

(b) in taking over the goods.


Editorial comments

CISG article 60 is identical to 1978 Draft article 56. The Secretariat Commentary on 1978 Draft article 56 should therefore be relevant to the interpretation of CISG article 60.
