COMMENTARY
Article 52 [draft counterpart of CISG article 56] supplies a convenient rule of interpretation of the contract. If the parties have not expressly or impliedly stipulated otherwise, the buyer does not pay for the weight of the packing materials (OFFICIAL RECORDS, p. 45).
