CISG database support provided by F. De LyProfessor F. De Ly coordinates the work of research assistants at Erasmus University Rotterdam engaged in the preparation of English translations of Dutch case law on the CISG. He is a professor of private international law and comparative law at the Law Faculty of Erasmus University Rotterdam where he teaches both subjects and is doing research on international business law and arbitration. Before joining the Law Faculty, he studied at Ghent Law School (Belgium) and obtained an LL.M. degree from Harvard Law School (Cambridge, Mass. U.S.A.). Also, he worked in the Brussels office of the U.S. law firm Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton and was an Associate Professor at Utrecht Law School (The Netherlands). Professor De Ly has written several books and has published numerous articles in the field of international business law, international commercial arbitration, conflict of laws, comparative law, and EC business law.
